At at 8am this morning, the Environment Agency said the current river level at York city centre is 2.2 metres which is 7 feet and 3 inches. This will continue to rise steadily throughout the day. The current forecast expects that levels will peak at approximately 3.7 metres overnight which is 12 feet and 2 inches. The EA will update this message as new forecast information becomes available via the link below. No further significant rainfall is forecast today.
